Hi! My name is Fabio Baradello and I am a Graphic & Web Designer with a passion for visual communication and digital experiences that make an impression.

For over 4 years, I have been designing visual identities, websites and graphic materials for companies, freelancers and startups that want to stand out. I believe that good design is not only beautiful to look at, but …

You know what I would write to capture your attention and communicate my professionalism, but I also end to “act nice” right away.

Here is a list of the things I do in life, in no particular order:

 

  • I build junk with a 3D printer
  • Creativity (lots, lots, maybe too much creativity)

  • I work well in teams (I volunteered animation for kids in teams for many years)

  • I climb (just for fun, I’m a dweeb)

  • I’m passionate about movies and series (screenwriting, techniques and tools, it’s not like I just enjoy watching them)

  • I teach children the noble art of Aikido (I’m a third dan black belt, 21 years of experience)

  • I build furniture (cabinets, nightstands, folding tables, BILBOARDS!)

  • Effective communication (I listen for real, whether customer or acquaintance)

  • I’m a Game Master for role-playing games (I led a 5-year long Dungeons & Dragons campaign, now I play 3 more)

  • I’ve been disassembling and reassembling technology since I was 12 years old (I’ve built more PCs than I’ve used)

  • I’m addicted to ice cream (sweets in general)

  • Continuous learning (I see so many tutorials and documentaries on YouTube that google has stopped offering them)

  • I solve problems efficiently (you try building a smart mirror built into your closet, I want to see how you solve the problem of motion adaptive wiring)

  • Critical and analytical thinking (I studied physics. Accidents happen)

Why the LED

The LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a revolutionary technology developed in 1962 by Nick Holonyak Jr. and which earned the Nobel Prize in Physics to Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano and Shūji Nakamura for their research on the blue light LED.

The LED is the light bulb of the future, to me it represents the concept of  idea 2.0 as opposed to the classic representation of the incandescent bulb, it is the fusion of an age-old invention and the human genius that transposed an electronic technology into one of vital domestic use.
The LED is inexpensive, efficient, environmentally friendly and from it more and more innovative technologies have developed that span different fields, just as a good graph needs to do.
LED is invention, genious, need, efficency, future and light.
LED represents me very well.

Il concept è stato realizzato per il Goldreed Industrial Design Award, sulla base della filosofia dell’economia circolare applicata al settore dell’elettronica di consumo.

Ogni aspetto: dalla modellazione al rendering 3D, dalla visual identity al logo è stato studiato e progettato dall’inizio.

Travels And Dragons is a project that combines travel and role-playing games. Two professional game masters, alongside an experienced guide, lead players and adventurers to live unique experiences both in the real world and in fantasy.

The project was to be structured as a classic landing page with CTAs (Call to Actions) linking to the travel products on the official travel agency website. The client came with clear ideas regarding the objectives and direction to give to the project, so the initial concepts were immediately appreciated. The collaboration with the client led to a rapid identification of the path to follow both graphically and for user interaction.

The result is an intuitive and engaging page that guides the user through a mysterious and adventurous atmosphere in exploring the possibilities of adventure.
